Focus on your Pelvic Health
Emma’s Women’s Health Physiotherapy & Pilates focuses on supporting adult women during pre and post natal stages, after gynaecological surgery, and with more general pelvic floor and sexual dysfunction symptoms.
You do not have to live with pregnancy related musculoskeletal pain or pelvic floor muscle problems, including bladder and bowel symptoms.
Arrange an assessment with Emma and benefit from a combination of manual techniques, education and rehabilitation so you can get back to enjoying every day activities and the hobbies you love.
Emma is a specialised Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with extensive clinical experience and post graduate training within this field. In over 18 years of physiotherapy practice she has worked in private and NHS settings, most recently for the Oxford University Hospitals Trust as part of their Women’s and Men’s Health Physiotherapy team.
This is an area of Physiotherapy Emma is especially passionate about after her own pregnancies and post natal recovery experiences. She enjoys having a positive impact on women’s pelvic health symptoms and focusing on areas often ignored or presumed as something unchangeable.
Since completing training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates institute (APPI) she also relishes in teaching group and 1:1 Pilates classes.
When Emma is not with clients she keeps active, enjoying sporting hobbies with her family or creating something artistic.
